I haven’t stayed at the Marival, but it sure looks nice. I have stayed a few doors down at the Riu Hotel. The area north of Puerto Vallarta is growing but a short taxi ride into Bucerias, will get you the old Mexico you desire. Had a great dinner on the beach for my birthday in Bucerias that I will never forget.
